Foundations in Personal Finance
In Foundations in Personal Finance, your teens will learn the money skills they’ll use now and for the rest of their lives so they’ll have a solid foundation when they’re out on their own.
This course trades boring formulas and financial theories for time-tested principles, real-life applications and humor (yes, personal finance can be fun!).
Dave Ramsey and his team of experts teach all the content for us.
Foundations in Entrepreneurship
Does your teen have a hobby they’re passionate about? What if they could turn it into something more? Whether they’re a natural leader and just need some business basics or they’re ready to take their side hustle to the next level, Foundations in Entrepreneurship is for them! With help from Dave Ramsey and his team of experts, your teen will learn essential business skills like management, communication, finance, HR, marketing and more. Empower your teen to become an entrepreneur who leads with character and excels in the work they love.
After we complete this teaching, we will then put what we learned into action. We will walk through the process of creating our own businesses, tracking expenses, marketing, and then selling the product or service. Students will share their business plan at the end-of- year showcase and then will set-up their business at a sale location and enjoy the fruits of their labor. We will also be bringing in a few entrepreneurs to come into the class and share their stories.
As teachers leading this class, we will do our best to encourage your students so they will have a successful experience in this class. This class will count as a full elective credit for your high schooler.
