Men's Discipleship Intensives (MDI)

Meeting Times – There are multiple groups. Please contact Pastor John for further information.

The Purpose of MDI:

  1. For God to equip and grow the men of FBC in spiritual maturity for God’s glory and the building up of the body of Christ – Eph 4:13
  2. For God to work through the men of FBC to spread the Gospel - Matthew 28:19-20
  3. For God to work through the leadership of FBC to teach sound doctrine - 2 Timothy 2:2

Requirements to be apart of MDI:

  1. Membership – you do not have to be a member to join. However, you must be a regular attender of FBC.
  2. Devotions – you must be regularly spending time communing with God through Scripture reading and prayer
  3. Support – If you are married you must have the support of your wife. If you are under 18 you must have the support of your parents.
  4. Commitment – you must commit to attending all the MDI sessions (except for vacations and sickness) and doing all the required assignments for the year.

2. Review and discussion of Bible Passage
3. Review and discussion of Reading Material
4. Sharing Prayer Request
5. Closing Prayer

Outside Meeting Accountability - Each group will have a text group to keep each other up to date on prayer, insights into the curriculum and encourage one another.

  1. Biblical Doctrine – A Systematic Summary of Bible Truth – Gen. Editors – John MacArthur, Richard Mayhue
  2. The Redeemed Man – Multiple Authors (We have copies – $9 a piece in the church office)
  3. Radical Discipleship – Hensworth W.C. Jonas (We have copies – $3 a piece in the church office)
