NEW TO FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF EATON RAPIDS?
We are a church made up of many individuals from the Eaton Rapids and Charlotte, Michigan area who are seeking to obey the command to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything our Lord has commanded us. (Matthew 28:19-20)
As a body, our aim is to garner a deeper understanding of God, His holiness, His love, and our sin and in turn let this spur us on to deeper worship of God, deeper fellowship, love and service to one another and a deeper drive to witness and proclaim Christ to the lost in Eaton Rapids, the greater Lansing area, and all throughout the world.
SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
Sunday School | 9:30am - 10:30am
Our Sunday School hour is for all ages and is a time for us to fellowship and learn together in a more intimate and conversational setting. We have classes, for 0-5 year olds, K-6th grade, Youth ages and Adults.
Worship Service | 10:45am - 12pm
Sunday morning Worship Service is the pinnacle of our week. Together, we worship God through gathering, singing, praying, giving and Biblically sound preaching. God's word is the heart of FBC and clear and unashamed instruction from His word is our priority and aim. Scripture is taught systematically and expositionally (verse by verse) with eager expectation that God will use His word to identify and transform His people.
Cookie Time | after service
After service each week we have "Cookie Time" in the Fellowship Hall. This is just our informal way of encouraging everyone to stick around, talk and get to know/catch up with their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Getting involved throughout the week
We don't want our involvement with one another to be limited to just Sunday Morning. We want to experience the joy and blessing the Lord desires give us through deep & edifying relationships with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
The ministries that take place at FBC give us this opportunity to connect, serve and fellowship with one another throughout the week as we grow together in our common commitment to our Lord, Jesus Christ.
